Welcome to the Woldingham Parish website!

There are two churches in Woldingham; St Paul’s and St Agatha’s, and there has been a church in the village since at least 1270. We are part of the Caterham Team Ministry, in the Anglican Diocese of Southwark. We welcome Christians of all denominations, as well as those who are exploring the Christian faith. You are very welcome to come along to any of our services and events.

Both churches have now reopened for Sunday worship (from July 2020): 9am at St. Agatha’s and 10am at St. Paul’s. Please let Maureen Westmarland know if you wish to attend so that we can keep the numbers within the permitted limits and arrange additional services if needed. Maureen can be reached on 01883 345868 or mmwestmarland@waitrose.com

The wearing of face coverings whilst is church in mandatory; disposable masks and hand sanitiser are available in both churches.

Recorded services are posted onto YouTube (St. Paul’s and St. Agatha’s Woldingham) for who are not yet able to attend in person. Please let us know if you would like the links for these to be emailed to you.

Please explore our site and learn more about our ministry!

The parish of St Paul’s with St Agatha’s, Woldingham takes the safeguarding and care of children and vulnerable adults very seriously.  Further information about this can be found on the Safeguarding Policies tab above.  The Diocese of Southwark document “A Safe Church” can be found at https://southwark.anglican.org/safeguarding/diocesan-policies-and-procedures

Members of our churches will be working together with the Woldingham Good Neighbours’ Scheme to offer support by email or telephone, or deliveries of groceries or medication, to those in our community who are confined to their homes during this period. Please contact Janet Tyler (01883 652264), Alison Mead (01883 652580) or Revd. Catherine (01883 652192) if you would like to help with this initiative, intended to supplement the other good neighbourly caring which is already taking place in the Village, or if you need help yourself at any stage. Please do also let me know if you have to self-isolate, as we are aware may be the case for a number of our members on age grounds before long, so that we can keep in touch and hold you in our prayers.
